On a wood stove. Does anyone know what they’re actually used for? I’ve seen some people use them thinking they’re controlling temp, but that is obviously done with the knobs on the front. What is the actual purpose of them and when should you use them?

like the title says, what are some things that we could do in order to actually achieve an anarcho capitalist society, aside from bitching about the government online.

2021.10.25 19:01 zeezolx Possible diabetes?
Male Age 22 No medication 5’11 160 lbs
My finger tips and toes have been itching lately, sometimes a sharp stab in fingertips no other symptoms as far as I know. I had blood test beginning of this year and blood glucose was normal. I started a job in a freezer and my symptoms started shortly after a few days of extremely cold hand and feet until I was able to get better gear for the job. Should I go get checked for diabetes or is this a symptom of having my hands extremely cold for a few days until I got better gloves and boots. This has been going on for 1 week.

I saw we've visited over $1.0 again and now at 0.80 I think it's safe to assume BTC is getting unstable and I am going to move 75% of my investment in OUSD. What's the overall community sentiment? Anyone else did this yet?

The Russian-based agency that orchestrated last year's SolarWinds cyberattacks - Nobelium - has hit hundreds more companies and organizations, according to tech giant Microsoft.
In a blog on its website, Microsoft said Nobelium's latest wave of attacks had targeted "Resellers and other technology service providers."
The attacks were part of a broad campaign over the summer this year, Microsoft said.
In its blog, Microsoft said Russia was trying to establish a technological bridgehead that would help with its surveillance operations.
The tech firm said it had learned enough about the new attacks, which began as early as May, to provide information that would "Defend against this new approach."
US officials told The New York Times newspaper that the string of cyberattacks amounted to an "Unsophisticated, run-of-the-mill operation that could have been prevented if the cloud service providers had implemented baseline cybersecurity practices."

2021.10.25 19:01 TairaHow What happened to Jaejoong's career after the April Fool's coronavirus scandal last year?
So basically for those not in the know, Jaejoong feigned having the coronavirus for an April Fool's joke last year. He had recently performed with several Japanese musicians the previous day which made them and their fans incredibly scared and also made his fans very scared due to the threat of the coronavirus. After revealing it was a prank, Jaejoong was heavily criticized.
I remember a bunch of people on k-pop forums saying his 'career was over' and that he killed his career momentum after his comeback in Japan and Korea. Has this actually happened or is he doing well?
